For example when mapping Jira Status > Salesforce Status and adding map values for only certain statuses, then I want the connector to only synchronize the mapped values and not update any other status that has not been mapped.

After reviewing this request, this can potentially limit the smart auto value mapping that has been built into our synchronisation logic. The easy workaround is to have slightly different values on Jira and Salesforce fields, so the connector won't be able to detect and map automatically.
