Don't show Salesforce comments if there is no association

Currently after aggregated comment feature has been added, regardless of the association, SF comments are populated in the JIRA Comment VF panel.

This is confusing for users and customer is asking to make this aggregation optional or cross check if there is an association and then populate the comments in VF panel.

    Admin response

Aidin, I rewrote the title to reflect the requirements. This will be part of next round of improvements of the comments panel within the next few weeks.

Hi, another customer is reporting something similar:

Ware noticing with the new Connector implementation between Jira and Salesforce that the Jira comments are inter-mingled with the SalesForce comments in Salesforce and we’d like a way to turn them off in SalesForce.

Thanks Aidin. At least we have found the issue. But to force this “feature” on customers is not acceptable. Please make this a high priority defect. As far as I am concerned this is a design defect and not a feature request.

The JIRA comments are used to communicate between Support and Development and we only want comments in there that progress this interaction. If all the SF comments are going in there, whether we like it or not, this makes this interaction either useless or far more complicated!

This is not a good customer experience Aidin. Please pass on to your product Managers that such features must be configurable in future and by default not enabled!
