We have data across various Salesforce objects that we would like to be able to display, and in some cases sync, to a Jira issue.
For example, we consider Salesforce our system of record for account information. Client names, client software versions, etc, are all stored within an Account object in various fields. If a Salesforce case is opened and it is determined to be something for development, it's helpful to get some of that information into the Jira ticket. With the current integration, we can't use data from multiple objects to create a single Jira issue, nor can we display data (in the sidebar) from multiple objects.
The current workaround is to duplicate the data in Salesforce into custom fields on the Case object, but it's redundant and should be unnecessary as we already have the data available elsewhere.
