Currently, since both Epic Link and Parent Link are going to be deprecated on November 11th, most of the Jira administrators are setting up this field in the mappings. Push and Pull are actually supported for this field, but users are not able to create new Jira issues if the field is being mapped. This feature is very important if Epic issues are associated with Salesforce records, allowing the integration to automatically assign new issues to the associated Epic.
Therefore, I'd like to be able to create new Jira issues with the Parent mapping enabled
