By default, all Salesforce icons sync to the list of "Available Salesforce Objects" in Jira's configuration. It would be great to be able to decide whether those icons can be hidden or not

This has been confirmed as a bug and it is added to our development backlog.
This seems like less of a feature request and more of a bug report since the icons for any custom object show up as a broken image, even when using standard Salesforce icons.
