Ability to populate an option field type from Salesforce picklist

Currently, the same values must exist on both ends when mapping an option field in Jira with a picklist in Salesforce. It would be great having the option to auto-populate the Option field (dropdown) in Jira every time a new value is added to the picklist in Salesforce.

Hi there, this is already implemented in our connector, you can configure the field mapping values so that the connector map the defined values even though they are not the same name on both platforms. For example, you can configure value "Value in Salesforce" in Salesforce to be mapped to "Jira Value" in Jira. This way, you don't need to set up the picklist and select list in both platforms to have the exact same value.

You can also refer to this documentation for the steps, under "Part 3 Setup Workflow Status/Post-function": https://docs.servicerocket.com/salesforce-jira/administrator-guide/use-cases/create-a-two-way-workflow-between-jira-issues-and-salesforce-marketing-campaigns

In regards to the auto-populate feature, I've created a new idea to track this here: SFJ-I-352. Please do vote on this idea if you are looking for the auto-populate feature.

    Best regards,
