Request Type field isn't supported currently. As an administartor I'd like to be able to show this field on the "Create Jira issue" screen in Salesforce.
this feature is very necessary and important to have since we expect several amounts of tickets and using a resource to add the request type manually is not a good idea since there is the human factor where there may be errors, besides it is a field that should be by default.
Now, do you know if as a workaround you could do an automation in JIRA using, for example, a specific reporter so that when a ticket is created by that reporter, the automation will add the request type?
For now, without this field, the integration of Jira Service Management and Salesforce is not very useful, as it doesn't replicate the behavior of the form we can build in JSM
As Request Type is tied to Issue Type, it would be great if the behavior of these fields change when a JSM project is selected. When a JSM Project is selected in the "Create JIRA Issue", rather than showing the "Issue Type" field, it will adapt and change to the "Request Type" field instead.
This should be default behavior for JSM project, instead of issue type, it should display request type and request menu item. At least make it configurable.
