As a user, I would like the connector to associate an existing record instead of creating a new record if the attempted creation of a record triggers the duplicate rule

Currently, we have duplicate rules enabled for contacts and accounts in our Salesforce instance

However, the connector will not triggers the rule when there is an existing record and create the record.

Therefore, as an user, I would like the connector to associate an existing record instead of creating a new record if the attempted creation of a record triggers the duplicate rule
