In the Connector Visualforce page component or the Lightning Component, is always display all the associated Jira issue regardless the Issue status.
As a user, I would like to have the filter be added to only display the open Jira issues in the Visualforce page component or the Lightning Component.

I would like it to be editable per component added to the same page in Salesforce. Meaning I could add a component at the bottom of an account page with all Jiras related to that account. Then I could add the same component to the side panel that shows only "Open" Jiras. To accomplish this, I would need to select multiple Jira status (New, Ready for Dev, In Progress, In Testing, etc.) as they all are considered "Open".
