Currently the connector syncs files and attachments from Salesforce to Jira. This can cause issues since issues created with email-to-case can contain signatures that also get synced to Jira. We would like to have the option to select to sync either the File type or Attachment type.

The issue we are running into is emails that get logged as activity on the activity feed in Salesforce contain image file like logos, sender picture, etc. And while the email itself is not getting synced between the SF and Jira, those files are! Which is then muddying the attachments in Jira. Especially when there is a long email thread.

Echoing both Pablo & Thomas requests for a finer control over what get pushed/pulled between SF and JIRA around files and/or attachments. This seems rather basic functionality and I am surprised it was not thought of from the start.

Does your plan also contains to select the files to be synchronized? So that I can choose which files I want to be synced and which not?
This would be perfect to assure the important files are transferred from SF to JIRA but not the irrelevant ones as mentioned here.
