Use case on how this would be useful:
When using both Scaffolding (text-data, list data, list option) and Jira issue macros together inside Confluence table for generating reports, the intention of "Edit Contents" is to be able to review data on the page while also making changes to certain necessary fields and adding notes.
As Jira data is not visible in the "Edit Content" mode, users have to open page in another browser tab and switch between tabs to view Jira issue information when updating status inside text-data and list data macros.
