Scaffolding has a nice REST API (https://docs.servicerocket.com/scaffolding/developer-guide/scaffolding-rest-api) which allows access to page data, change and populate it.
If it is done from ScriptRunner running inside Confluence there is a overhead of authentication and also coding.
It will be nice to have access to some API which will allow to simply read data or meta JSON for a page and write it back without REST call.
I have done a work around this and access to this kind of API could save around 15-20 lines of code overhead.
