As a user, I want the ability to choose how date reporting is shown (server timezone or user timezone)

By default, when formatting is used on the report/scaffolding, the date will show using the user timezone. However, the date that is stored on the Scaffolding XML has the server timezone.

This feature request is to have the ability to select which timezone (server or user) when the showing a formatted date.

Can there also be a complement option on the date data macro, both defaulted to use server time to maintain pre-8.22.0 functionality. I believe that this will allow the same macro to perform as a date only macro (use server time) or a time zone/schedule time macro. Server time would essentially ignore time values that are set, or not be included as an option when server time is selected.

This approach will help everyone that already has an infrastructure in place and would alleviate a huge overhaul by many systems to transition from one macro to another. It would be more of an inplace transition and possibly automated throug the API by setting a flag.
