At this time, the Google Doc files linked through the connector are not indexed in Confluence so they cannot be searched within Confluence. It would be good if we could configure the connector to have server-side access to the files so it can indexed, as opposed to client-side access only as it is now.

Our company would like to use Confluence as the user interface for internal systems' documentation, support, knowledge base. We are using Google shared drive and tools to maintain base documentation, and would like to be able to search all of these docs from within Confluence just as we can directly on the Google shared drive. Confluence allows for search of attached Microsoft docs, but we do not want to use Microsoft tools/format and we would prefer not to have to upload/attach our baseline google docs.
