We have had a usecase to update the Confluence page's version everytime an approver has approved or removed their approval of the page, much like how the checkbox macro functions. This will benefit us particularly regarding auditing and when errors occur (such as approvers being lost when a comment with a screenshot is added) as a failsafe.

Would like to be able to visually see the approval history for a page in some manner.

i also wanted the same feature. A comment tag that says "approved" or "approval taken back" would be sufficient
would also be useful to make sure that whoever approved the page is not the author nor the reviewer.
